9 volunteers, both internationally and from various parts of the country, will be heading out this morning to their placements. They vastly enjoyed their time here at Emmaus even though it rained 6 of the 9 days they were here.
They had their meals, meetings and discernment time as well as a short concert with SparkJoy which the upstairs of the retreat lodge became a dance hall.
One of their service projects was helping strip old paint off of the benches and picnic tables and resealing them with timber oil. Below are some pics of that service project.
